Picture this - you are driving around; hungry, tired, and all you want is a snack and some caffeine. Then you see a Starbucks sign!! Bingo. I must admit it – I am addicted to Starbucks. Why? Because they have great food that is consistent and have high protein and affordable options for food all over the world.
Regarding drinks at Starbucks - oddly, I just always order a normal cup of coffee at Starbucks. Pike’s Place coffee with cream. Boring but low calorie. Since most people only talk about drinks at Starbucks I wanted to share with you some of my favorite high protein snacks to grab to help get you through the day.
Like I have mentioned before on Eat Play Run, most people don’t get enough protein and when you are on the go it is good to get a snack high in protein. Protein helps stabilize your blood sugar, so you don’t crash, and it also helps build muscle.
See below some of my Starbucks recommendation for high protein. Please note I did add the full nutritional content of these snacks. They are not all low fat and calorie or carb conscious for people watching that. Just high protein.
